USS GERALD R. FORD Leadership Award Winners

“The Eagle”, “The Wolverine” and “The Bulldog” Leadership Awards recognize the individuals who have demonstrated sustained superior performance and exhibited the most exceptional leadership skills over the award period. Candidates for the awards should exhibit the qualities and character that made Gerald R. Ford a great president and a role model. Candidates’ daily lives should reflect high standards of honesty, integrity, fortitude, physical and moral courage, social responsibility and family values.

Officers (01-04) who are permanently assigned to GERALD R. FORD are eligible for the “The Eagle” award. Chief and Senior Chief Petty Officers (E7-E8) who are permanently assigned to GERALD R. FORD are eligible for “The Wolverine” award. Petty Officers (E4-E6) who are permanently assigned to GERALD R. FORD are eligible for “The Bulldog” award.

The awards are given annually on or about 14 July, the birthday of the late President Gerald R. Ford.
