Young Public Servants of Color

Program Description

Young Public Servants of Color is a program designed to inform and elevate young students of color interested in public service. This program connects Mississippi high school students with appointed and elected officials, community leaders, and issue advocates from across the state to discuss barriers and opportunities to public service leadership for young people of color. The purpose of the program is to help these students enhance their leadership skills and create a roadmap that prepares them for public service careers and leadership positions.
