Stennis Program for
Congressional Interns
Program Overview
The Stennis Program for Congressional Interns is a competitive, bipartisan, bicameral program designed to provide congressional interns with a unique opportunity to understand better the role of Congress as an institution and its role in our democracy.
Participants connect with current and former senior congressional staff through a series of discussion sessions designed to provide an in-depth look at Congress and its operations with other Washington, D.C., institutions. The program also provides participants an opportunity to build relationships with other interns from throughout the country. A certificate of recognition is presented at the end of the program.
