Jessica Shappley, Director of Programs & Communications

Jessica Shappley serves as director of programs and communications at the Stennis Center for Public Service. 

Jessica attended Mississippi State University, where she earned a master’s degree in public policy and public administration and a B.A. in English and communications with a concentration in journalism. She is also a member of the American Society for Public Administration. 

Before she joined the Stennis Center, Jessica served as vice president of policy at Hope Policy Institute, the policy division of HOPE (Hope Enterprise Corporation and Hope Federal Credit Union). Jessica was also a senior policy analyst and a policy analyst at HOPE, where she promoted data-driven policy that created and supported economic opportunities for underserved communities in the Deep South.
