Hayden Richardson serves as the operations coordinator and Truman-Albright Fellow for the Stennis Center for Public Service. She completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University with honors, double majoring in political science and legal studies. Hayden was awarded the Political Science Prize for top honors thesis and was cited in the New York Times. In addition, Hayden was elected as political science senior marshal at graduation out of the 150 graduates as embodying the department’s values.
Outside of academia, Hayden served as campaign coordinator and image consultant for two state-level campaigns and drafted legislation. On the legislative side of governance, Hayden drafted and promoted LB 1126, which allocates funding for the backlog of rape kits in Nebraska and guarantees fundamental human rights to survivors of sexual violence.
Previously, Hayden promoted women’s access to venture capital at SHATTER Fund and Foundation and supports the nonprofit.
